portland oregon's marijuana cafe is hardly the first in the united states

los angeles had medical hash and marijuana bars/cafes several years ago, good job portland, oregon but you are not the first in the u.s.a.!

i used to to go to los angeles caregivers and patients group (la cpg) on hollywood and el centro, they had a nice hash/marijuana bar, coffee and snacks, bands would come play music, they'd do free yoga and art in the same spot...here's an old weedtracker.com thread mentioning it:

all this "first marijuana cafe in the u.s." stuff about portland is nice and all, but far from true
